Forensic Nursing Network

This training prepares registered nurses to develop the foundational knowledge and skills needed to provide comprehensive medical forensic care to patients who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, and other forms of violence. Course content addresses the medical forensic examination, patient history, evidence collection, documentation, trauma-informed care, collaboration with the sexual assault response team, and the nurse’s role within the legal process.
